Colorman (Ireland) Limited is located in Dublin West at Broombridge in Dublin 11.

The site consists of the manufacturing plant and the distribution centre. The manufacturing facility houses our pre-press, printing, finishing and office space. Our facilities are modern, spacious and state of the art.

Machines and Capacity (Printing)

Colorman invests heavily in new technology and systems so that we remain one of the leading printing companies in Ireland. Our next generation of lithographic presses is the culmination of technological advances over the past number of years and include UV capabilities. The Roland 710’s ten units allow Colorman exponential flexibility in printing as well as faster run times.

Colour Pilot

We have installed a new system called Colour Pilot which allows us to programme our presses with specific customer standards to ensure consistent colour reproduction on each printing.

Machines and Capacity (Finishing)

At Colorman we have a full bindery to cater for almost any printed product. We have recently installed two new folding lines and a new saddle-stitching line. This new machinery adds to our existing plant which includes perfect binding, direct mailing, crush-folding, taping, die-cutting, scoring and gluing.

Warehouse and Distribution

Colorman is equipped with a large 30,000 sq ft capacity distribution centre where all finished products are stored ready for call-off. This dedicated facility is located adjacent to the main manufacturing facility.

Our material management systems have been in place since 1984 but have been altered and updated through the years. At present our materials management system is PECAS, which incorporates a bar-coding system and is completely automated and integrated into our main manufacturing system. Everything entering the warehouse and distribution centre receives a bar-code which uniquely identifies each product and when call-offs are placed the product is scanned out and real time updates of stock levels take place. Staff in the distribution centre are equipped with infra red hand held scanners, which are linked to the PECAS system via a wireless network.
